"Terra de sonho de uma artista" - Jane Eyre vista por Paula Rêgo
Este conjunto de litografias de Paula Rêgo inspira-se na obra Jane Eyre, An Autobiography, escrita por Charlotte Brontë, e a sua narrativa revela uma concepção de um feminismo interior violento.
O drama psicológico nas suas gravuras é alimentado, por um lado, pelo grito de revolta das suas paisagens mentais libertadoras e por outro pela realidade social, sombria e lúgubre.

Fascinating pictures she makes.
(A lot of dutch didn't know her until a doocumentary on tv this week).
By the way, there's more interesting stuf here on your blog, the 1 january foto, the U2-concert! and the name of the blog.
